Hospitality has to be in your blood to be a success in the hotel business, and Lucy Demers has got it!

 

Lucy has been in the hospitality/hotel business for over a decade, spending a majority of that time with our Fairfield Inn Plymouth-Middleboro. As a life long resident of the town of Middleboro, Lucy is also our resident expert on everything guests (and employees) need to know about the area. Whether it is an attraction, local company, hidden jewel, our back road Lucy will get you there.

 

Jiten Hotel Management recognized the star power in Lucy when taking over the Fairfield Inn from its previous management company in 2007. She was the one we couldn’t let get away. In addition to her role as Guest Service Representative, Lucy has proven to be the ultimate at multi tasking, such tasks as being the cookie baker, commission keeper, housekeeping helper, maintenance mediator, and micro/fridge juggler.

 

Lucy balances her commitment between her family and her job by working the 2nd shift full-time.  This allows her to check-in and greet the majority of our guests five days a week, and quite simply, they love her. Lucy is always prepared, confident, friendly, caring, and most important never allows a walk-in to walk out!

 

Over the years she has built a rapport with many of our most frequent guests which is why they keep coming back. Quite simply, the guests love Lucy…and we do too!

 

When asked why she likes working at the Fairfield Inn, Lucy said it is because of the awesome team she works with, and the wonderful guests. Her motto is the Golden Rule, “treat people the way you would want to be treated”….and she proves that it works!

Jiten Hotel Management Leaders – Our Team

Nayan Patel, CEO
Mr. Patel is the founder of Jiten Hotel Management. His hands-on approach keeps him involved in all facets of the business with a special focus on strategic relationships. Mr. Patel leads Jiten’s hotel acquisitions groups, is actively involved in AAHOA and with numerous community projects.

Beth Scherer, Vice President
Ms. Scherer has seen Jiten Hotel Management grow from five to fifteen owned and operated hotels. A specialist in franchise conversions and new construction openings, Ms. Scherer has hands-on General Manager experience. Ms. Scherer is past President of the American Cancer Society Board of Directors and is active in other local charitable organizations.

Bud Shah, Vice President of Finance
Mr. Bhadresh (Bud) Shah has been a key financial advisor to the Jiten Hotel Management team since 1998. A Certified Public Accountant in Massachusetts with twenty years of experience, Mr. Shah provides a wide range of services from accounting, income tax compliance and tax planning, to management advice. Specializing in hotel financing and development, Mr. Shah is also a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Massachusetts Society of Certified Public Accountants.

Diane Simons, Accounting Manager
Ms. Simons has provided accounting services to Jiten Hotel Management for 8 years. She holds an Accounting and Business Management degree. Leading a dedicated staff that offers support to all of our managing locations, Ms. Simons is an integral part of the Jiten Hotel Management team.

Beth Bleakney, Director of Human Resources
With Jiten Hotel Management for nearly fifteen years, Ms. Bleakney brings General Management and extensive operations experience to her current role. She is a knowledge expert on laws and regulations in the states Jiten Hotel Management serves. Ms. Bleakney holds a degree in Hotel/Restaurant management.
